A woman from Licking was injured Friday afternoon in a crash north of Licking, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Tpr. Travis Brown said a northbound 2006 Ford Escape driven by Jessica M. Love, 30, swerved to miss an animal in the roadway, lost control and overturned on Kimble Road about four miles north of Licking.
Love, who had moderate injuries, was taken by ambulance to Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla.
Brown said she was wearing a seat belt.
Assisting at the scene was Tpr. J.R. Sellars and the Licking Fire Department.
