Houston High School senior Connor Clifton received his second selection as the ‘Built Ford Tough Player of the Week’ for defensive efforts in the Tigers’ 34-14 win Friday against Cabool.
Clifton returned a fumble 42 yards for a touchdown on the fourth play from scrimmage as the first of Houston’s five scores. He had 11 tackles – seven solo and four assists – as well as a tackle for loss.
Clifton also received the honor in Week 2.
