Houston High School senior Connor Clifton has been named the ‘Built Ford Tough Player of the Week’ for the third time this season.
Clifton had four catches for 92 yards – highlighted by a career-best 61-yard catch and run – in the Tigers’ loss Friday at Ava. He also had a pair of tackles.
Player of the week honors are selected by the Varsity Club and sponsored by Romines Motor Co.
Clifton also received the honors for the second and fourth weeks of the season.
