A Licking teen was injured Sunday, Sept. 25, in a crash on I-44 at Rolla.

A Licking teen was injured Sunday night when his vehicle went out of control on wet pavement on I-44 in Phelps County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said. 

Sgt. S.W. Cunningham said an eastbound 2008 Chrysler Siebring driven by Dustin T. Reno, 17, spun out of control and into the path of an eastbound 2008 Nissen Quest operated by Edwin P. Goosen, 70, of St. Peters.

Reno and Goosen were taken to Phelps County Regional Medical Center at Rolla with minor injuries after the 10 p.m. crash. 

Reno’s car was totaled. The other had moderate damage. Both were wearing seat belt.
