Emergency personnel responded Tuesday morning to a crash south of Licking.

Two persons were injured Tuesday in an accident south of Licking, the Missouri State Highway reported. 

Tpr. Mark Philpott said a westbound 2004 Ford F-150 pickup driven by Daniel L. Cooper, 32, of Mountain View, crossed the centerline of Highway 137 and struck an eastbound 2014 Toyota Camry operated by Chandra E. Baker, 44, of Licking. 

Baker and a passenger, Campbell D. Barker, 10, were taken with moderate injuries to Texas County Memorial Hospital. Both were wearing seat belts.

Cooper, who was not wearing a seat belt, was not injured in the 7:53 a.m. collision about three miles south of Licking. 

Both vehicles were totaled. 

Assisting at the scene were Tpr. Travis Brown, the Houston Rural Fire Department Rescue Squad and the Licking Fire Department.
