Earl Edward Keller, 91, passed away Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016, at his home in Beulah.
He was born Jan. 4, 1925, in Norwich, Kan., son of Curtis Alva and Mary Elnore Kline Keller.
He served in the Army from May 13, 1943, until Jan. 24, 1946. He was awarded a bronze star and good conduct medal.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He loved working hard on his farm and checking the cattle. Later in life, he especially enjoyed his cat, Sissy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Helen and Florence Skidmore; and three brothers, Clarence, Joe and Glenn Keller.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Norma; a daughter, Patricia Ann Cory of Gary, Ind.; two sons, Earl Dean Keller of Gary, Ind., and Donald Gene Keller of Indianapolis, Ind.; two sisters, Anna Mae Johnson and Mary Berry; eight grandchildren; a step-grandson; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Services were Tuesday, Oct. 25, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lonnie Case officiating. Burial was in Big Piney Cemetery.
