At about 7:15 a.m. Thursday, emergency personnel were responding to two calls:
• City of Houston firefighters responded to a report of smoke coming out of a garage at 313 Holt in Houston. The call was later cancelled, as the source was determined to be a wood-burning stove.
• A motor vehicle accident sent the Clear Springs Fire Department to 510 S. Highway 137 near the Pine Creek Bridge.
