Houston High School junior Josh Hurst was named the ‘Built Ford Tough Player of the Week’ for his efforts in Friday’s game against Willow Springs.
Hurst had 11 tackles – seven solo and four assists – as well as two tackles for losses. He is also the team’s starting center.
Player of the week honors are selected by the Varsity Club and sponsored by Romines Motor Co.
