Houston High School senior Cameron Root was named the ‘Built Ford Tough Player of the Week’ from Friday’s game at Mountain Grove.
Root had three tackles – one solo and two assists – in the Tigers’ loss. He is also the team’s starting tight end.
Player of the week honors are selected by the Varsity Club and sponsored by Romines Motor Co.
