Two injured in Summersville crash

Two persons were injured Saturday afternoon in a crash near Summersville.

Sgt. George Falterman of the Missouri State Highway Patrol said a northbound 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Kearah S. Lovett, 17, of Summersville, ran off the left side of Highway YY, overturned and struck a utility pole. 

Lovett and a passenger, Brett T. Antrim, 21, of Mountain View, had minor injuries and were taken to Mercy Hospital in Mountain View following the 3:30 p.m. crash.

Lovett wasn’t wearing a seat belt; Antrim was, troopers said. The vehicle was totaled.
