Houston police cited several persons during the last week.

The following are excerpts from reports generated by the Houston Police Department:

•A 43-year-old Houston woman reported on Sept. 20 that a black iPhone 4 of hers had been stolen while she was working at a U.S. 63 convenience store.

The woman told an investigating officer she accidentally left the phone in the women’s restroom between 3 and 6:15 p.m. and it was gone when she went to retrieve it. There are no suspects.

•Kari D. Young, 29, of 8447 Mineral Drive in Houston, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia on Sept. 30.

An officer who had arrested Young for trespassing at Walmart issued the citation after she advised the officer she had a syringe for meth in her bra. She handed over the item and stated it was for meth.

Young was taken to the Texas County Jail and the syringe was secured as evidence.

•James W. Fithen, 31, of 305 S. Second St. in Houston, was cited for allowing a dog to run at large on Sept. 28.

•Tabbitha S. Wofford, 41, of 905 Hiett St. in Houston, was cited for allowing a dog to run at large on Sept. 29.

•Shane A. Waldorf, 28, of 104 Alcorn Lane in Houston, was cited for allowing a dog to run at large on Sept. 29.

•Alisha R. Cook, 35, of 821 Dooley St. in Houston, was arrested Sept. 30 for having an active Texas County warrant for tampering with a motor vehicle (a felony) and resisting arrest.

An officer who was aware of the warrant made the arrest after observing Cook walking down the middle of First Street just after midnight. She was taken to the Texas County Jail, where she was unable to post $200,000 bond. Police say they are acquainted with Cook following several incidents, including one where she was arrested after parading nude in her neighborhood.

•Tabitha N. Newell, 23, of 5210 U.S. 63 in Cabool, was arrested after a traffic stop Sept. 29 for having active Dent County warrants for driving without a license and speeding. 

•Felicia D. Batchelor, 30, of 611 Hawthorn Street in Houston, was issued citations for driving while revoked and displaying plates of another after a traffic stop on First Street at about 7:30 p.m. Sept. 28. An officer made the stop after observing a red Ford Mustang traveling with truck plates on it.

•Kody B. Dow, 23, of 711 Mill St. in Houston, was cited for failure to yield right of way after a two-vehicle accident at Highway 17 and Hamrick Avenue on Oct. 2.

•Scott T. Higgins, 31, of 228 Cedar St., No. 18, in Licking, was issued citations for driving while intoxicated and speeding after a traffic stop on U.S. 63 at about 2:20 a.m. Sept. 11.
