Authorities from the Houston Police Department investigated several cases during the last week. 

The following are excerpts from reports generated by the Houston Police Department:

•Jennifer M. Parker, 23, of 110 N. Friend St., Apt. 5, in Licking, was arrested Oct. 29 for having an active Texas County warrant for driving while suspended. An officer made the arrest while investigating a disturbance in the parking lot behind a business at about 8:30 p.m.

Parker was taken to jail where she posted $400 bond and was released.

•Cassadie L. Gann, 24, of 13299 Craddock Drive at Licking, was issued a citation for stealing under $500 for allegedly shoplifting at Walmart on Oct. 19.

•Jacob D. Moncrief, 23, of 19043 Parker Road in Licking, was cited for following too closely after a two-vehicle accident on Highway 17 at about 4:45 p.m. Oct. 26.

•An officer on patrol at about 1:45 a.m. Oct. 23 was flagged down by a woman standing by her vehicle on Grand Avenue.

The woman told the officer all four tires on the car were flat. The officer observed that all four had been slashed, and had cut marks about two to four inches long.

A 36-year-old Houston man is a suspect.

•Terri L. Phelps, 56, of 700 Ozark St. in Houston, was cited for stealing under $500 after allegedly shoplifting at Walmart on Oct. 14.
