The following accidents were reported by the Missouri State Highway Patrol:

• Joyce A. Johnson, 43, of Licking, was injured Sunday morning when her vehicle struck a deer about three miles south of her hometown on U.S. 63. Johnson, who was wearing a seat belt, had minor injuries and was taken by private vehicle to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston.

• Two persons were injured Saturday afternoon in a crash near Summersville. Sgt. George Falterman said a northbound 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Kearah S. Lovett, 17, of Summersville, ran off the left side of Highway YY, overturned and struck a utility pole.

Lovett and a passenger, Brett T. Antrim, 21, of Mountain View, had minor injuries and were taken to Mercy Hospital in Mountain View following the 3:30 p.m. crash.

Lovett wasn’t wearing a seat belt; Antrim was, troopers said. The vehicle was totaled.
