The following accidents were reported by the Missouri State Highway Patrol:
• A Bucyrus teenager was injured last Tuesday night when the vehicle she was riding in struck a cow in the roadway. Jade M. Shelton, 19, was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital following the 7:25 p.m. accident on Highway 38 three miles south of Huggins. She was wearing her seat belt.
The driver, Christopher A. Shelton, 47, was uninjured. He was also wearing a seat belt. The 1995 Dodge Ram he was driving was totaled.
Authorities said several cattle were roaming the area near Highway FF when the accident occurred.
