Cabool branch: Cabool is closed for renovations. However, there is an alternative pickup/drop off location set up at Peoples Community Bank from 9 a.m. until noon every Friday. Patrons can call in requests to any of the other Texas County Library locations.
Licking branch: There was a great turn out to the Halloween event. There were more than 300 local kids who picked out a free book from the library. Staff can’t wait to do it again next year.
Houston branch: A bag sale is Nov. 14-19. The donated books are overflowing. Fill a bag of paperbacks for $1, a bag of hardbacks for $2!
Summersville branch: The library recently had bicyclists from New Zealand visit. Books on other countries are nothing like getting firsthand knowledge. Persons can stop by the library to check out the log of all the visitors who travel the local cycling routes.
New arrivals: The library just made a big trip to the Springfield book sale, and new titles will be at the branches.
