Murder suspect Daniel Campbell, who escaped Monday night from the Texas County Jail and was apprehended 16 hours later, appeared Tuesday afternoon in court.
Campbell was arraigned in Courtroom A of the Texas County Justice Center by Judge Douglas Gaston. He will continue to be held without bond.
Sheriff James Sigman, who arrested Campbell shortly after 10 a.m. outside a home between Roby and Success, attended the hearing.
