A highway project in Texas County was among four contracts awarded by the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission.
A $3,378,857 contract was awarded to APAC-Central, Inc., for pavement improvements on Highway 17 from U.S. 63 to Highway 106 at Summersville. It was announced at the Nov. 2 meeting. The project includes pavement improvements and adding two-foot shoulders.
Four projects in the Southeast District were awarded to Apex Paving Co. for pavement improvements Bollinger, Cape Girardeau and Stoddard counties. The contract was for $1,494,214.
