FITZPATRICK

A Raymondville woman and Houston man each face felony burglary charges after an incident Oct. 23 at Licking.

According to probable cause statements submitted to the county prosecutor by a Texas County Sheriff’s Department deputy, Deajane E. Jaramillo, 25, of 137 Junction St. in Raymondville, and Corey Fitzpatrick, whose address is listed as the Texas County Jail, allegedly broke into a woman’s Boone Creek Road home and swiped guns, a gun safe, electronics and numerous other items.

The officer reported that the victim stated she had located many of the goods at Jaramillo’s address. Deputies went there and made contact with Fitzpatrick and Jaramillo, who each confessed to stealing the goods. They both named another man whom they said was also involved, but he has not yet been located.

Jaramillo and Fitzpatrick are each charged with second-degree burglary (a class C felony) and stealing less than $500 (a misdemeanor). They are each held in the Texas County Jail on $150,000 bond.
