Soldiers in training at Fort Leonard Wood enjoy their traditional Thanksgiving meal. 

Nearby Fort Leonard Wood  celebrated Thanksgiving with a traditional holiday meal served in 10 on-post dining facilities today.

William Moffitt, Installation Food Program manager, his team and the food service contractor provided nearly 11,000 meals during the lunch celebration and more than 25,000 meals throughout the day.

More than four tons of turkey, 900 pounds of shrimp, 3,000 pounds of rib eye and more than 2,000 assorted pies were served as part of the traditional holiday meal that more than 300 food service employees will prepare.
