Three Houston High School volleyball players were named to the all-SCA team.
Alyssa Hayes led the Lady Tigers’ selections with a position on the second team. Emily Shea and Sevanna Rowland received honorable mention.
Hayes, a senior, Hayes had 102 kills – 3.52 per match – and 61 blocks her senior season to earn second team recognition. Both led the Lady Tigers.
Shea, also a senior, ranked second on the team with 92 kills and 157 digs.
Rowland, a junior, led Houston with 242 digs. She also had 27 aces.
Liberty’s Brenley Stearns was named the conference player of the year. Her coach, Shari Tune, was the coach of the year.
