The Houston High School choir topped the South Central Association with 20 all-conference selections at Thursday’s auditions.
HHS accounted for 20 of the 81 students chosen from the eight conference schools. There were 210 students who auditioned.
Six Houston students –– seniors Demi Creek and Lexi Morgan, junior Kaitlyn Root, sophomore Summer Floyd and freshmen Lucas Bailey and Tyler Gross –– received perfect scores. The other HHS students selected were Elizabeth Scott, Jaycee Huff, Megan Morland, Jazelle Brannan, Carly Crawford, Vanessa Kirkwood, Marley Stoops, Laura Monks, William Wilson, Taylor Ward, Brian Leichliter, Lance Smith, Jaekan Moss and Johnny Duarte.
