The Houston Middle School boys’ basketball teams both lost Tuesday night at Mountain View-Liberty.
Alex Castleman scored a team-best eight points in the eighth-grade team’s 56-21 defeat. Chris Cichon scored five, Ty Franklin had four and Trevor Mitchell and Jacob Moseley added two apiece.
In the seventh-grade game, Josh Smith and Hunter McKinney scored three points apiece in a 34-14 loss.
Four players — Korbyn Tune, Ebin Smith, Austin Ramsey and Case Jones — all scored two points.
