The Houston Fire Department was called at about 12:30 p.m. to a report of a grass fire on Forrest Drive.
The blaze was across from the city water tower.
At about 12:45 p.m., the Houston Rural Fire Department was called to Fisher Drive north of Houston, where a hay bale and brush were on fire near timber.
