The following meals and activities will be available next week at Houston Senior Center:
• Monday, Nov. 7– sweet and sour meatballs, egg roll, rice, Oriental vegetables and cookie. 8 a.m. – noon quilting; 8 a.m. — ? pool and shuffleboard; 9 a.m. adult coloring; free lunch drawing.
• Tuesday, Nov. 8– chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, carrots and pineapple cake. 8 a.m. – noon quilting; 8 a.m. — ? pool and shuffleboard.
• Wednesday, Nov. 9– ham, baked potato, cabbage, bread and cinnamon applesauce. 8 a.m. – noon quilting; 8 a.m. — ? pool and shuffleboard; 9:30 a.m. board meeting; 12:30 p.m. bingo.
• Thursday, Nov. 10– baked chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, roll and peach slices. 8 a.m. – noon quilting; 8 a.m. — ?, pool and shuffleboard.
• Friday, Nov. 11– closed, Veterans Day.
Salad bar is available every day. Barbecue chicken wings every Friday as an alternate to the meat.
Drawing for five free meals is noon on Mondays, must be present to win.
Soup and sandwich available Monday – Wednesday and Friday with lunch as another food option choice in the dining room only.
