Korbyn Tune led a balanced scoring attack as the Houston seventh-grade boys’ basketball team beat Licking 21-15 Thursday night.
Tune had nine points in the Tigers’ season-opening victory. Austin Ramsey added six points, Hunter McKinney scored four and Ebin Smith had two.
EIGHTH GRADE: Evan Fisher-Koch and Chris Cichon scored six points apiece in the eighth grade’s 43-20 loss Thursday night to Licking.
Rene Lathrom and Jacob Moseley scored three points apiece. Ty Franklin added two.
Both teams return to action Tuesday night against West Plains for their home openers. Tipoff of the seventh-grade game is 5:30 p.m.
