2016 election

Secretary of State Jason Kander has unveiled a new website to help voters find their voting information.

The Missouri Voter Outreach Center allows voters to view their candidates and measures that will appear on their ballot, find their districts and look up their polling place in one location. This new, fully accessible website can be found online at VoterOutreach.sos.mo.gov.

“The Voter Outreach Center makes it easier than ever for voters to prepare for Election Day by reviewing their sample ballots and looking up their polling place,” Kander said. “I’m pleased to offer this resource ahead of the November 8 general election, and I encourage all Missourians to visit the site.”

Missouri’s Voter Outreach Center gives Missourians a new tool to help make going to the polls easier. With this new site, voters enter their voter registration address and are taken to a page that lists voting information specific to their address. Voters can view candidates and measures that will appear on their ballot and see which legislative and congressional districts they live in. Through this site, Missourians are also able to view a list of upcoming elections and voting registration deadlines, the polling location for the address entered and contact information for their local election authority.

The tool was developed to meet W3C accessibility guidelines, which allows users with a diverse range of hearing, movement, sight and cognitive ability to easily find the information they need to be Election Day-ready.
