Cassie Carter was the winner in the Taste of Christmas candy category.

Numerous Houston businesses participated in last Saturday’s annual “Taste of Christmas” event sponsored by the Houston Area Chamber of Commerce.

The competition features cooks submitting dishes in various categories, and participants sampling and voting for their favorites.
