An Elk Creek boy was injured at about 7:15 p.m. Dec. 1 in an accident north of Cabool, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

A Bucyrus teenager was injured Tuesday night when the vehicle she was riding in struck a cow in the roadway.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Jade M. Shelton, 19, was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital following the 7:25 p.m. accident on Highway 38 three miles south of Huggins. She was wearing her seat belt.

The driver, Christopher A. Shelton, 47, was uninjured. He was also wearing a seat belt. The 1995 Dodge Ram he was driving was totaled.
