Thomas Lawrence Atchison Sr., 68, passed away Monday, Oct. 31, 2016, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
He was born Sept. 4, 1948, in St. Louis County, son of Henry A. Atchison and Flora M. White Atchison.
He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of the Pentecostal faith.
Some of his favorite pastimes were spending time with family, fishing, camping, hunting and watching westerns. He loved playing solitaire on is iPad.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Charles D. Atchison; and a sister, Judith A. Atchison.
Survivors include two sons, Tommy Atchison Jr. and Steven M. Atchison; two stepdaughters, Jenny Scott and Laura Scott; two brothers, James D. Atchison and John W. Atchison; two sisters, Norma J. Atchison and Nora Lee Jackson; and many other family members and friends.
Memorial services were Saturday, Nov. 5, at Bradford Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Atchison officiating.
