Texas County’s unemployment rate dropped one-half of a percentage point in October, reports the Missouri Department of Economic Development.
The figure was 5.9 percent in October.
In the south-central Missouri region, the average was 5.5 percent.
Texas County’s civilian work force was 9,619 with 567 unemployed.
