A man from Success sustained moderate injuries Saturday in a crash near icy Twin Bridges, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Sgt. Dale Pounds of the patrol said a southbound 2005 International driven by Frederick L. McCraney, 25, of Jonesboro, Ark., crossed the centerline of ice-covered U.S.63 and struck a northbound 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis operated by Ethan D. Huff, 25, of Success.
Huff, who was wearing a seat belt and whose vehicle was totaled, was taken by private vehicle to TCMH following the 9:35 p.m. crash. The big rig had moderate damage.
Assisting at the scene were Cpl. Curtis Haden, Tpr. Marty Wiseman, the Houston Rural Fire Department Rescue Squad and MoDOT.
It was the 10th injury since icy conditions began Friday.
