TASTC pet of the week

My name is Stetson, and I’m hoping to find my furever “Home for the Holidays!” I have been waiting for quite some time to find a happy home. I was taken in by TASTC when my time was up at another shelter. The nice people here say that it’s my turn now! They tell me that my hero will come along any day now, and hopefully I will get to celebrate the new year in a comfy home with people who love me!

I’m a 4-year-old male Australian Cattle Dog mix. I am current on all my vaccinations, I am heartworm-free, dewormed, and neutered. I am the type of dog who is always ready for adventure! Whether it’s a walk in the park, a drive into town, or an exploration in the woods… I am up for anything! I would love to find a home with a big yard to run in, or with someone who has an active lifestyle as I desire to go, go, go. At least a good hour of exercise each day is what I need. Then, I can flop down beside you and enjoy some relaxation!

Help me to find a happy home this holiday season, by sharing my story with your friends and family. If you think I might make a great addition to your home, stop by the shelter and meet me, or contact TASTC to inquire about me!

The adoption fee is $125 for dogs and $45 for cats. Visit The Animal Shelter of Texas County at 6931 East Hwy. 17 in Houston. Hours are 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and by appointment Sunday. You can also email texascountyanimals@hotmail.com or visit the shelter’s Facebook page.
