Houston officers handled a pair of investigations in the last week.

The following are excerpts from reports generated by the Houston Police Department:

•Billy Jack Hayes Jr., 26, of 313 N. Grand Ave. in Houston, was arrested Dec. 22 for having three active warrants for property damage.

An officer made the arrest after receiving an anonymous tip at about 1:50 a.m. that Hayes was at a Hawthorn Street residence. Upon arrival at the home at about 2:10 a.m., the officer made contact with a woman there who at first denied Hayes was present, but then changed her story.

Hayes had felony warrants from Texas County (capias warrant to appear before judge) and Bollinger County ($10,000 bond) and a misdemeanor warrant from the City of Houston ($500 bond). He was taken to the Texas County Jail.

•Lloyd R. Hill, 58, of 11998 Highway 38 at Cabool, was cited for first-degree trespassing after entering Walmart on Dec. 21. Lloyd had been trespassed from all Walmart properties after an incident in May 2015.
