Five Houston High School volleyball players were named Wednesday to the Missouri Academic All-State team.
To qualify for the honor, players must have a cumulative 3.6 grade point average or higher and play in 75 percent of the team’s varsity matches.
Named to the team were:
- Brooke McGown, junior
- Emily Shea, senior
- Melody Buse, sophomore
- Sevanna Rowland, junior
- Janae Huff, freshman
