The following are excerpts from reports generated by the Houston Police Department:
•Whitney N. Williams, 25, of 17928 Highway H at Elk Creek, was issued a citation for driving with suspended license after a traffic stop at Highway 17 and Thomasville Road at about 5:25 p.m. Jan. 29.
•Billy J. Burke, 38, of 16466 Forrest Drive in Houston, was cited Jan. 28 for driving a vehicle without an operable license plate light.
•Cody J. Westmoreland, 19, of Richland, was cited for stealing under $500 after allegedly putting $28.35 worth of gas into a maroon Toyota Corolla at Casey’s General Store on U.S. 63 in Houston and leaving without paying. The incident occurred on just after midnight Dec. 31, and Westmoreland was cited Jan. 9 by an officer who observed a vehicle matching the description in the Walmart parking lot and then located its driver.
