Well hello there! My name is Rookie, and I’m the Adoptable Pet of the Week at The Animal Shelter of Texas County! I was originally found all alone, and was brought to TASTC. After arriving, it was discovered that I had a badly broken leg. I was taken to the vet to have my leg set, then I had to wear a cast for 6 whole weeks! Now my cast is off, and I’m getting physical therapy every day in the form of a leg massage and stretches.
I’m looking for a forever home that will be able to continue my therapy, until I am able to walk and run like I used to again. I’m a very laid-back boy, whose only desire is to be petted and held. I sure can’t wait to find my forever family! I will be one happy cat!
I’m a 3-4 year old male tabby. My adoption fee is $45, which includes my neuter, deworming, and vaccinations. Stop by and meet me any time. You can come to visit the kitties and doggies, we always love extra attention! If you decide to adopt me when you come, there is a short adoption contract to fill out that takes only about 5 minutes.
