A Texas County project is among those included in a bid opening.

A project in Texas County was among five announced Jan. 4 at the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission regular meeting.

A $955,144 contract was awarded to APAC-Central Inc., for pavement improvements on Highway 137 from Highway 32 to Highway 17. Additional information, regarding timelines and impacts to traffic, will be released before the start of construction.

Other projects awarded in the southeast district were:

•$676,500 to Hartman and Company Inc., for bridge improvements on Highway 5 over Bryant Creek near Ava in Douglas County.

•$2,512,834 to Magruder Paving, LLC., for pavement improvements on eastbound Highway 60 from Highway F to Highway 25 near Dexter in Stoddard County.

•$2,117,968 to Leo Journagan Construction Co., for pavement improvements on the following routes: Highway Y near Mansfield and Highway 38 in Hartville. Both are in Wright County.

•$834,301 to Apex Paving Co., for pavement improvements Highway ZZ and Highway AD in Stoddard County.
