BRYAN GENTRY

Bryan Lee Gentry, son of Bob and Patricia Haney Gentry of Houston, was born on March 26, 1964, in Houston, and departed this life on Feb. 17, 2017, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, at the age of 52 years.  

Mr. Gentry was the owner and operator of Dr. Vinyl, which served the automotive industry. He was an active member of the Living Water Worship Center in Bloomfield and a resident of Dexter. A graduate of Houston High School in 1982, he earned his Eagle Scout award, the organization’s highest honor.  

On Feb. 18, 1984, he was united in marriage to Letitia “Tish” Hazelton in Sikeston.  Tish survives of the home.

Besides his wife and parents, survivors include four sons, Clifton Gentry (Laura), Jackson; Caleb Gentry, Dexter; Ethan Gentry (Allie), Hollister; and Darrin Pullum of the home; by two daughters, Amelia Banken (Matt) of Dexter and Bailey Pullum of Bloomfield; two brothers, Barry Gentry and Billy Gentry, both of Houston; and one sister, Pamela Gentry of Springfield.

He also is survived by 11 grandchildren, Bryce Gentry, Graham Gentry, Raegan Gentry, Charly Gentry, Luke Gentry, Piper Gentry, Elizabeth Gentry, Ruthie Gentry, due May 1; Reese Banken, Rush Banken and Wren Banken, due July 17; and many extended family that he loved and cared for dearly.

Services with the Rev. Jim Hook were Wednesday, Feb. 22, at First Christian Church at Houston. Burial was in the Wolford Cemetery at Clara. Arrangements in Dexter were conducted by Raney-Mathis Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Living Waters Worship Center, P.O. Box 650, Bloomfield, Mo. 63825, to buy Bibles for the Celebrate Recovery ministry at the church or Wofford Cemetery, 15067 Cleveland Road, Houston, Mo. 65483.
