Houston High School senior Trenton Best signed Thursday with the Hannibal-LaGrange track team.

Best is a reigning all-state track performer after finishing sixth in the 110-meter hurdles at the 2016 Missouri State High School Activities Association track and field championships. His time of 15.43 established a new school record.

HLGU track coach Andy Lemons came to Houston for Best’s signing. He was also joined by his parents, Mike and Hope, as well as HHS athletic director Brent Hall.

Hannibal–LaGrange University is a private four-year Christian liberal arts college in Hannibal.
