Houston officers arrested several on outstanding warrants in the last week. 

The following are excerpts from reports generated by the Houston Police Department:

•Amber D.L. McKinsey, 23, of 915 Ozark St. in Houston, was arrested at about 8 p.m. March 12 for having an active Cabool Police Department warrant for failure to stop at a red light and an active Wright County warrant for no seat belt. An officer made the arrest after responding to a report of an unwanted person at an Ozark Street residence. 

•Ronald L. McCallister, 41, of Hillsboro, was arrested March 11 for having an active Texas County warrant for receiving stolen property and identity theft.

An officer made the arrest at a Reed Street residence after being advised McCallister was there. He was taken to the Texas County Jail and held without bond.

McCallister also had active warrants in Jasper County, Greene County and Crystal City.

•Jackson C. Morgan, 40, of 4073 Highway 137, No. 109, in Elk Creek, was arrested March 11 for having an active Texas County warrant for felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and trespassing.

An officer who was advised by an off-duty officer that Morgan was at McDonald’s made the arrest at the Dollar General store after Morgan went there after leaving McDonald’s. He was taken to the Texas County Jail where he was unable to post $75,000 bond.

•Patricia J. Hayes, 36, of 16155 Lewis Lane in Licking, was issued citations for stealing under $500 and driving without a valid license on March 3.

An officer responded to a report of shoplifter at Walmart, and was told by a store employee that a woman suspected of swiping several items had fled to a white Chevrolet Traiblazer when confronted. A short time later, the officer observed a vehicle matching the description traveling east on Highway 17 near North Industrial Drive, and conducted a traffic stop.

Hayes was taken to the Texas County Jail, fingerprinted and released.

•Anthony D. Bigby Jr., 31, of 114 Sugar Maple in Houston, was issued citations for driving without a valid license and failure to register a motor vehicle after a traffic stop at U.S. 63 and Grand Avenue at about 4:20 p.m. March 5.
