Bobby Joe Aldridge, 82, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2017, after a long illness.
He was born Oct. 27, 1934. He and Faye Marie Goforth were married July 14, 1956 in Cabool.
He was born and raised in Tyrone. He graduated from Summersville High School.
He loved his family. He enjoyed stock car races, baseball, gardening and small engine mechanics.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Faye; three brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include three children, Brenda Clinton Repubic, Linda Rider of Cleburne, Texas, and Robert Aldridge of Springfield; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Vernetta Swartz of Hesperia, Calif.
Services are Tuesday, April 4, at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
