Patricia Ann Hodson Hiler, 82, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017, at Texas County Memorial Hospital.
She was born May 19, 1934, in Fairmount, Ind., daughter of Elza and Georgia Jarvis Hodson. She and Howard L. Hiler were married Sept. 16, 1950.
She spent half of her life in Grant, Mich., and then moved to Sterling, Alaska, in 1973. She and her husband, Howard, recently joined the Elk Creek community part-time.
Her hobbies were singing harmony, painting, photograph, and, in her younger years, scuba diving.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Fran Leverich and Betty Addison.
Survivors include her husband, Howard of the home; four children, Dale Hiler of Houston and Bill Hiler, Norman Hiler and Patty Gename of Alaska; and 10 grandchildren.
Services were Saturday, April 1, at Elk Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Gordon Rhodes officiating. Burial was in Tyrone Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
