Here are the admissions for the Texas County Jail.

The following are excerpts from reports generated by the Texas County Sheriff’s Department:

•A deputy was dispatched at about 9 p.m. July 29 regarding a report of possible drugs in a residence on Highway E. A 33-year-old man there told the officer he had come home and found white powder on the kitchen counter.

The officer determined the powder wasn’t meth or another drug. The man said that’s all he wanted to know and that he would clean it up.
