A Licking woman faces multiple charges and is in jail on $500,000 bond after an incident last Thursday night in which she allegedly assaulted a man, and then arresting officers.
Licking Police Chief Scott Lindsey said an officer on patrol at about 10:20 p.m. was flagged down by a man walking on Myers Street. The officer observed the man bleeding from a wound on his arm and an ambulance was contacted to check his injury.Â
The man reported being assaulted by a woman at a residence on Cedar Street, and officers responded.Â
After further investigation, Crystal L. Hoylman, 38, of Licking, was arrested for second-degree domestic assault. During the arrest, the Hoylman physically resisted and assaulted officers by kicking them. She also caused damage to a patrol car while being transported to the Texas County Jail.
As a result, Hoylman has been charged by Texas County Prosecuting Attorney Parke Stevens with armed criminal action, assault and resisting arrest. Â
