Robert “Bob” D. Tune, 63, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at Phelps County Regional Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 27, 1953, in Mountain View, son of Uhl Lester Tune and the late Geraldine Wagster Tune. He and Pamela R. Mason were married March 18, 1978.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two infant sisters, Norma Jean and Joyce Ann; a brother, Lester Tune; and three sisters: Geneva Sykes, Margaret Ann Frances and Betty Lou Foshe.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Pamela Tune of Raymondville; four children, Miranda R. Tune of Sikeston, Bobbi Dyer of St. James Brandon Tune of Summersville and Rebecca J. Tune of Raymondville; three brothers, Charles Tune, Darrell Tune and Gary Tune; three sisters, Ellen Wright, Ruby Pitts and Carol Tune; seven grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
Services were Monday, July 10, at Fox Funeral Home with the Rev. Erin McConnel officiating. Burial Burial with military honors was Tuesday, July 11, in Sunset Hill Cemetery in Potosi with the Rev. Jeffrey Gowen officiating.
