Houston police cited several persons in recent investigations.

The following are excerpts from reports generated by the Houston Police Department:

•Jennifer D. Hendrix, 28, of 103 Red Bud Drive in Houston, was issued citations for fourth-degree assault and property damage after she allegedly got into a fight with another woman and damaged her cellphone during an incident at Walmart at about 8:30 p.m. Aug. 8.

Hendrix was issued another citation for property damage on Aug. 9.

This time, an officer was dispatched at about 2:10 a.m. regarding a report of damage to a vehicle at Sugar Maple Lane. The officer spoke to people there and determined Hendrix had punctured two tires on the vehicle.

The vehicle reportedly belonged to the woman Hendrix fought with the previous day. She denied vandalizing the tires.

•Wesley K. Dailey, 18, of 670 Faye St., in Houston, was cited for fourth-degree assault on Aug. 3 after allegedly assaulting a 17-year-old girl.

•Vallorie D. Chamberlain, 46, of 106 Acorn Lane in Houston, was issued a citation for animal at large after a dog she owns allegedly bit a neighbor’s 12-year-old girl on Aug. 5.

•James D. Nix II, 30, of 19965 E. Highway 32 at Licking, was issued citations for driving while intoxicated (drug condition), displaying plates of another, driving while revoked and no insurance after a traffic stop on Hamrick Street at about 6:40 p.m. July 27.

An officer made the stop after observing a silver Dodge Ram pickup traveling with a car license plates on it.
