A Houston woman is charged with felony assault following an incident near the Houston Post Office.

The following are excerpts from reports generated by the Houston Police Department:

•Donald A. Newell, 27, of 14004 Arnot Road, No. 1, in Licking, was issued citations for first-degree trespassing after entering Walmart on July 24 and 25. He had been banned from all Walmart properties after a previous incident.

•Michael E. Suddeth, 27, of 330 S. Main St. in Licking, was cited July 5 for failure to register a motor vehicle.

•Eric J. Buell, 33, and Roy D. Atkinson, 48, both of 300 Ozark St. in Houston, were issued citations for fourth-degree assault after allegedly assaulting a 22-year-old Houston man on July 15.

•A 36-year-old Houston woman reported on July 24 that she had made a purchase at Corner Express on July 23 and received several $1 bills in change. She stated that she then went to Casey’s to get a cup of coffee, tried using one of the bills to pay, but found out it was counterfeit.

The woman gave the fake bill to police as evidence. There are no suspects.
