Texas County’s unemployment increased two-tenths of a percentage point in July, reports the Missouri Department of Economic Development. The figure was 5.4 percent.
In south-central Missouri, the average rate was 5.5 percent.
Texas County’s civilian labor force was 8,774 with 478 unemployed.
