Two governmental entities in Texas County were sued Tuesday in circuit court related to an accident that claimed the life of Plato man.
Tessa S. Dixon filed the wrongful death lawsuit against Cass Township and Texas County on Tuesday following a July accident that claimed the life of her husband, Justin W. Dixon, 31.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Dixon was operating a northbound 1975 International tractor that traveled off the side of Hamilton Creek Road and overturned.
