The battle for bragging rights in Texas County is also a fight for one team’s first victory of the season as the Houston Tigers (0-3) travel to Cabool (0-3) tonight.

THIS WEEK’S OPPONENT: Cabool fell to 0-3 with a 40-27 Week 3 loss to Willow Springs. …The Bulldogs lost their season opener 56-8 at Jefferson (Festus) and were beaten 29-6 the following week at Hollister. …Friday’s game against Houston is homecoming for Cabool. …HHS coach Eric Sloan is 2-0 against Cabool with a 34-14 win last year and 21-7 victory in 2015. …The Tigers have won four of the last five meetings with their county rivals.
